Publications
Publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals is the gold-standard process for companies that are committed to advancing, understanding and sharing findings with a healthcare-focused audience. In addition to publishing research findings, LivaNova is also committed to providing open access to the healthcare community when possible. Within this section of the Medical Affairs website, published research will be organized by therapeutic area and links directly to the journals will be provided. LivaNova does not provide complimentary access to scientific literature that is available only by subscription or other paid-access method.
Congress activity
New and emerging research findings are often presented by primary authors at scientific conferences prior to full peer-reviewed publication. These presentations—most commonly in poster format—provide investigators and authors an opportunity to share clinical trial results, real-world evidence, safety data, and exploratory research with other healthcare professionals in a structured, peer-reviewed setting. Presenting at conferences allows investigators to engage with peers, validate research assumptions, and contribute to ongoing scientific dialogue within the healthcare community.
